It’s important you feel comfortable in counselling, we will work together to help you find the style of counselling that works best for you.
I have training and experience in a range of well known evidence based therapies and approaches including:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) which helps you identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and learn practical self-help strategies.
Narrative Therapy helps you become the expert in your own life. It helps you find a more positive story of you and identifies that you are not the problem, the problem is the problem!
Positive Psychology is used to build a growth mindset and support your goals and emotional flourishing.
Art Therapy is helpful for all ages to foster healing and mental wellbeing. It can be used to help explore your emotions, develop self-awareness, cope with stress and build self-esteem
Appointments
Counselling is available via face to face appointments in the Toowoomba QLD Region or via telephone or Zoom appointments for anyone anywhere in Australia and overseas!
A 90 minute initial appointment helps us get to know each other, find out what you want from counselling and start to make a plan.
We then follow up with 60 minute counselling sessions.
Rebates are available with some Private Health Fund Providers
Counselling is available for NDIS Participants who are Plan-Managed or Self-Managed.
Unfortunately NOT covered by Medicare or Mental Health Care Plan
